A beautiful weekend in Claremont, NH The weather was great and it looked as though the racing would be equally as good! Jeremy quickly figured out the best way around TSS and put down some great lap times! The PASS Outlaws had a pretty good turn out of 19 and when it came time for the 100 lap feature on Sunday we only lost 1 entry, the #04 (Engine Failure). So at this point the excitement is really building up! The #09 is starting 9th and Jeremy feels very confident about his car.... and then... IT HAPPENED! YUP, even before the green flag dropped. As the field came down the backstretch, single file, after driver introductions the #37 hit the throttle (instead of the brake). He hit Jeremy in the rear pushing the #09 into the #36 of Jay Sands. Our car sustained some serious damage and went laps down trying to fix it. The fuel cell was crushed and the entire rear bumper, body and braces are junk. In addition to that .. we will have to replace all of the bracing & duct work in the front! What a SHAME Lots of pictures from the weekend though! |
