Jeremy started racing at the age of 9 at Sugar Hill Speedway. Starting
out in the Tiger Sprint Class was a great way for Jeremy to cut his teeth
on his new pastime. Scoring his first win at Sugar Hill will always be a
great memory. In 2001 Jeremy decided to move his racing weekends
over to Maine and compete in the Jr. Lite Stock Division at the Boxshop
Speedway. This proved to be a great move! Jeremy dominated the
season with multiple wins and securing the 2001 Jr. Lite Stock
Championship! Jeremy continued in this division again in 2002 and
secured a great 3rd place in the points, despite missing the last few
races of the year so that he could attend Open Comp races with his
family.
That brings us to 2003 & 2004, WOW, Jeremy made a big move up from
go-karts! White Mountain Motorsports Park in the Race Truck Division is
where we have spent the last 2 years. Jeremy has scored multiple wins
& Best of Show honors! It has been a great ride!!! I would be amiss if I
didn’t tell you that the best part of this young persons career has
nothing to do with wins & trophies, Jeremy has become a well known
young man at every racetrack he visits. Jeremy is well respected by his
competitors and has made a lasting impression on the racing community
with his thoughtfulness, generosity and his kind nature He is a true
Gentleman Racer!.

Racin Paper 7/18/04 Down Pit Road….. With Dick Therrian The Sportsmanship and Classiest Act of the year award, thus far, goes to Jeremy Davis. Davis, a 14 year old competitor at WMMP did something last Saturday night that impressed the hell out of the fans and me! The WMMP truck division drivers run for trophies only. They get no cash or points at all. Well, I took a special youngster and his dad into victory lane on Saturday night. This little guy had his nose glued to the fence and I thought I would give him a closer look. He got to pass out trophies to the top three finishers and this little duffer was on cloud nine! After the presentation, we were headed back upstairs and Jeremy Davis caught up to the little fella and gave him his third place trophy. This would be Davis’s only reward of the night for his hard effort outside of a big kiss from his mom, but yet he gave it up for a young man’s smile. Jeremy, you made this young man some happy, and you made us all very proud. You are one fine young man, a super role model for other veteran drivers and Thank You very much! Dick Therrian
