February 2006  SPEEDWEEKS
New Smyrna Speedway
Night #1 New Smyrna Speedway
Started 18th  -  Finished 10th
Thursday 2/16/06  -  New Smyrna Florida
The day started off with a lot of excitement, a new track, a new
truck and a whole lot of new faces!  Jeremy was ready to go -
But we BUT the truck was plagued with transmission trouble!
We went through three Trani's in about 4 hours and 3rd time was
the charm!
This means no practice on this new track and
Jeremy had to time trial with a transmission that would not
shift into second, that put him starting 18th.
The feature rolled out onto the 1/2 mile asphalt at about 8:45pm,
Jeremy picked off 8 positions and made his way into the top ten!

Friday 2/17/06
Night #2 was not so lucky! Jeremy started 10th for this 50 lap
feature and at lap 20 He had made his way to 6th when the truck
shut down, a DNF was very disappointing -  BUT we will try
again tomorrow!

Saturday 2/17/06
A poor finish on Thursday put Jeremy in the back of the pack for
the start of tonights feature! The green flag flew and the 9X did
the same. Jeremy raced clean and fast up to a great 11th place
finish.

This was a great week!
The New Smyrna Speedway 1/2 mile was a great experience.

Nice job Jeremy!
